Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) Practice Exam

CCHT and CHT look like typos of each other. They're not, they're two separate credentials from two separate organizations, NNCC issues the CCHT, BONENT issues the CHT, and while the exams share a similar shape, they're not interchangeable. Before you register or study, confirm with your employer or state which one is actually required for your position.

Eligibility here isn't just an age or education bar. You need a high school diploma or GED, completion of a hemodialysis technician training program with both classroom and supervised clinical components, recommended hands-on patient care experience of 6 months or 1,000 hours, and employer verification if you've worked the role within the past 18 months. This is a credential layered on top of real clinical training, not something you approach from zero.

At 150 questions in 3 hours, you're averaging just over a minute per item. With a 74% bar, missing roughly one in four still leaves you passing, so pacing through without stalling on a hard question matters more than perfect recall on every single one.
